MONDAY.
* LOCATIONS...INTERSTATE 80 OVER DONNER PASS, HIGHWAY 50 OVER
ECHO SUMMIT, HIGHWAY 88 OVER CARSON PASS AND LASSEN VOLCANIC
NATIONAL PARK.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 FEET OF SNOW ABOVE 4000 FEET WITH 6
TO 12 INCHES DOWN TO AROUND 3000 FEET. LOCAL ACCUMULATIONS UP TO
6 FEET POSSIBLE ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS. SNOWFALL RATES OF
2 INCHES OR MORE AN HOUR AT TIMES.
* MAIN IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED ROADS WITH CHAIN CONTROLS AND WHITE
OUT CONDITIONS. ROAD CLOSURES POSSIBLE.
